The SEC Exchange is an annual event where the student governments from each of the 16 universities in the Southeastern Conference gather for a dynamic conference of idea sharing, networking, and collaboration. The event brought together nearly 200 participants for a two-day experience that set a new standard for the conference.
Over the course of several months, I led the development of the visual identity for “SEC at UT - The SEC Exchange 2025.” I began by presenting a series of brand proposals that explored different thematic directions, ultimately arriving at a Western-inspired landscape that integrated the Austin skyline and UT Austin’s iconic Tower; a nod to both the host city and campus pride. In collaboration with UT Austin Student Government, we developed “Welcome to the Herd” - a unifying phrase that became central to the event’s identity.
From concept to execution, I produced a full suite of branded materials that brought the identity to life across every touchpoint. This included pre-event promotions, event merchandise, and a wide range of day-of print and digital assets. One of the standout pieces was a custom Jumbotron graphic, featured at the legendary Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium, creating a memorable visual moment for attendees.
Feedback from returning participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many attendees described the SEC Exchange 2025 as the most successful rendition of this conference, with several commenting that the branding was the best they’ve seen since the conference’s inception.
